Description: one of my favorite things to do when we go to north carolina is to ride the ferry from south port to fort fisher. we spend time at the aquarium, and then usually hit a restaurant for dinner before heading home, but i think i would be content to just ride the ferry all day... and my kids would probably be okay too - as long as we had an endless supply of quarters to put into those binocular machines... this year, charlie zonked out in the car on the 3 minute drive from the ferry to the aquarium... figures. he woke up just in time to freak out about the diver in the huge shark tank... oh, the poor 2 year old mind was scarred for life... the guy in the tank was blowing bubble kisses at charlie - it was the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes.
