In a card set you were giving as a gift? I would like to make some boxed sets to give as Christmas gifts this year and I'm wondering what you would include. I am thinking:
Birthday
Baby
Wedding
Anniversary
Love
Friendship
Thank You
Blanks
Should I include holidays? Am I missing anything? I would like this to be the go-to box for the recipients.
TIA!
Ann

When I make sets, I usually include just thank yous, birthdays suitable for either gender, and blank cards. When I design the blank cards, I keep the other occasions in mind, so one might be cream and lacy (suitable for wedding, anniversary or baby).
I try not to make anything too specific because they're the ones that hang around forever and never get used. And I'm superstitious so I don't include sympathy cards either, but I make sure there are blank ones which would be suitable.
I've also made packs of blank, completely generic cards, with a variety of double-sided stamped sentiments which the user can stick on themselves as they wish.

Personally I wouldn't put holiday cards in.
I love making card sets - have fun with yours!

I would make thank yous or just generic blanks or thinking of you.
I made these- they fit 4-6 cards and envelopes. I downloaded the template from www.papertreyink.com only $5 for the download. They were really simple to make.

and then I put these cards inside

Hey Ann, I'm doing the exact same thing for my boss (to keep at her desk) and for an exchange gift for a girls party.
I'm making the same cards, except I'm thinking I'll probably skip all the holiday cards, but make some Get Well Cards and Missing You Cards.

I agree with the other ladies, to keep them generic. Blank, thank you, gender-neural birthdays (everyone has birthdays), and congratulations are probably the most useful. Everyone celebrates different holidays (and many people order personalized Christmas cards). I am superstitious about babies and sympathy.
